New Zealand’s Jonelle Price was the big mover on the FEI Eventing World Rankings in August, jumping from 149th into 27th place.

It was a good month for Jonelle, winning the CCI4*-L at Scone Palace International Horse Trials on board her new ride Capitaine De Hus Z as well as sixth place in the same class on Chilli’s Morning Star, while her young horse Faerie Good Golly finished fifth in the CCI3*-L at Hartpury International.

The top 10 remained pretty much as per last month with Harry Meade (588), Ros Canter (550) and Jonelle’s husband Tim Price (475) holding the top three spots and just Tom Jackson and Bubby Upton swopping eighth and tenth places. Boyd Martin remains the top ranked US rider in fourth place.

Shane Rose remains the top ranked Australian rider, in 17th place, but Andrew Hoy also made a big move last month, from 325th to 106th thanks to a very successful outing at the new August Luhmuhlen event, winning the CCI4*-S on board Vassily De Lassos and taking second place with Gulliver Des Lones.
