International Teams’ Tent Tickets on sale for Greenwich this summer

Heading to Greenwich and looking for added comfort during London 2012?

The British Equestrian Federation has announced that there will be an International Teams’ Tent which will be open to “all Federations, riders, owners, team staff, riders’ friends & family and supporters of the Teams”

The International Teams’ Tent will provide an opportunity to escape the crowds of the Equestrian Olympic Games in Greenwich and enjoy access to a licensed bar, buffet food and TV coverage of the equestrian competitions; a place to sit down, relax and meet with family and friends

The International Teams’ Tent will be run by the revered Rosemary Barlow, one of the founders of the British Horse Trials Support Group (HTSG) which has raised enormous funds for the sport of eventing in the UK. For many years, Rosemary has also acted as organiser and hostess to the British owners and riders at international events both at home and at major championship and Olympic venues. Her hospitality and warm welcome will now be extended to include all of the participating nationalities at London 2012

The International Teams’ Tent will be located on a mezzanine floor on the National Maritime Museum , adjacent to Greenwich park, and will only be accessible from within the Greenwich Park Equestrian venue so all visitors will require tickets to the event. There will be a licensed bar, buffet food (at additional cost) and live TV coverage of all equestrian events. The tickets are available on a “first come, first served” basis, are available on a per day basis (60 British pounds) or per discipline (240 British pounds) and must be purchased in advance
