LA28 hosted more than 300 Olympians and Paralympians, representing 28 different Games dating back to 1960, at the historic LA Memorial Coliseum to announce the opening of the LA28 ticket registration.

You can now register your interest to be entered into a draw for a timeslot to buy Los Angeles 2028 Olympic tickets. Find out how and what to know about what happens next.

Register before 18th March 2026

This is the first opportunity for everyone around the world to register to buy tickets for the LA28 Games (14th – 30th July 2028)

Anyone who hopes to buy tickets must register and create a profile on the LA28 website during the registration period, which runs until 18th March 2026.

The LA28 Olympics will mark the biggest Games ever, featuring 36 sports and 51 disciplines across 49 competition venues in 18 zones throughout the Los Angeles region and Oklahoma City. The Olympic Opening Ceremony will take place on 14th July 2028, and the Closing Ceremony on 30th July 2028.

The timetable for all sports, including equestrian, has been released with the eventing competition taking place from 14th – 18th July 2028. View full details of the LA28 equestrian timetable here

I’ve registered. What happens next?

You will be entered into the ticket draw, which will assign registered users a random time slot to be able to purchase tickets.

Importantly, registration does not involve any payment or obligation to purchase. Registration is the first step for a chance to secure a time slot to purchase tickets.

These time slots will open in April 2026 for the general public, with over 3 million tickets available during this first ticket window.

Residents with a postal code in the eight host counties in California and Oklahoma can also register to be assigned a random time slot for the early-access local presale, which runs from 2nd–6th April.

Fans who are successful in the draw for a random time slot will be informed up to 48 hours ahead of their assigned slot.

How can I pay for my tickets? Is there a limit on how many I can buy?

Tickets will start from $28 (USD), and every discipline and session will be on sale. Each account is limited to buying 12 Olympic Games tickets.

Visa will be the Official Way to Pay for ticket sales.

You can register your interest now. Find out more information and full terms and conditions at https://la28.org/en/ticketing.html
