The FEI has officially approved and announced the latest Officials appointments for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games, with three Technical Delegates being named.
Jumping Technical Delegate: Gregory Bodo (FRA)
Eventing Technical Delegate: Andrew Temkin (USA)
Foreign Veterinary Delegate: Mark J A Sinnott (GBR)
A past competitor and now Level 4 Technical Delegate, Andrew Temkin joins Alec Lochore, appointed as cross country course designer, on the list of LA28 Eventing Officials.
Andrew has officiated around the world at major events including Badminton, Burghley and Kentucky CCI5*. He was also a Technical Official at the 2016 and 2020 Olympic Games.
“I am honoured and greatly appreciate the FEI's appointment as the Technical Delegate for Eventing at LA28” says Andrew “I was first exposed to the sport of Eventing at the Games in 1984 and fell in love with the sport, creating a lifetime interest, first as a competitor and later as an international official. Returning to Santa Anita is an exciting opportunity to showcase our sport to the world. I look forward to working towards achieving that goal”
