Second horse inspection at Badminton

       Lucy Jackson and Willy Do

For those who rose early and made it to the second horse inspection followed by the Badminton church service (which, I have to admit, did not include me) the inspection was somewhat faster than the first one on Wednesday, which seems a very long time ago now.

Four horses were withdrawn prior to this morning’s inspection; Jock Paget’s Clifton Promise, Beanie Sturgis’ Lebowski, Lucy Jackson’s Willy Do and Izzy Taylor’s KBIS Briarlands Matilda

Three horses were asked to trot up twice; Nicolas Wettstein’s Nadeville Merze who was rather exuberant, Merel Blom’s Rumour Has It and Tim Lips’ Keyflow N.O.P. while Elizabeth Power’s September Bliss was sent to the holding box but was accepted on representing

Yesterday Lucy Jackson was thrilled with Willy Do's cross country round when we spoke to her but sadly we won't be seeing them today in the show jumping arena
