We would like to wish all of our readers a Happy New Year
2014 is going to be a big year with the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games in Normandy as well eventing competition around the world and we’re looking forward to bringing you the best eventing coverage that you have grown to love.
I would like to thank everyone who has helped make An Eventful Life what it is today, from the behind the scenes team of web manager, designers and administration people to the photographers, reporters and bloggers who bring you news, features, interviews, videos and photos every single day of the year. It takes a huge effort to create and bring you the quality and amount of content that we do and I am constantly amazed at the endeavour and good humour of the whole team (even in the wee hours of the morning and a bit bleary eyed!)
Particular thanks go to Alison Duthie, Libby Law, John Lechner, Emily Penney, Toni-anne Collins, Allira Fontana, Tazzie Eggins and Hamish Cargill as the core editorial and photographic team in 2013 and of course our fabulous bloggers who fill us in on their own eventing world. Thank you too to the ‘stars’ of our world – the eventing riders, owners, coaches, event organisers, officials and others involved in the sport in many different ways who allow us to share their stories and thoughts. There are so many people throughout the year who have helped that we cannot thank you all in person but please know that we appreciate your time and input
