Sarah Dalziell joins Equestrian Sports New Zealand

Equestrian Sports New Zealand has appointed Sarah Dalziell as their new high performance director. 33 year old Sarah, who started with ESNZ this week, has taken up the role previously fulfilled by Sarah Harris, who resigned in November 2014

Sarah Dalziell brings her past experience as an in-house lawyer, more recently in the area of telecommunications, and is familiar with the countries that her riders are based in having worked in both New Zealand and the UK

She also has extensive experience within the sport, competing successfully in both eventing and show jumping. Riding her top horse Benrose Super Star she placed fourth in the CCI2* at Puhinui 2013 and second in the CCI1* at Taupo 2012

“I am really excited to be part of a promising team that has so much depth of talent, and look forward to using the skills and attributes I have developed in my career to date, in a context that I am passionate about,” she says on the ESNZ website announcement
