Olympic silver medallist Shane Rose and his wife Niki are experts in the breeding stakes, having produced some wonderful foals on their property Bimbadeen Park in NSW. But this time the anticipated progeny will be two legged, not four! Their baby is due in May 2012 and will be the couple’s first child.
Shane and Niki were married in January 2011 in a beautiful ceremony overlooking some of Sydney’s iconic bays. Together they run Bimbadeen Park, a service facility for thoroughbred and racehorse pre-training as well as producing some of Australia’s most talented eventing horses.
Shane won the Exhibition Eventing at Equitana Sydney 2011 last night and is currently on his way over to compete at the Deloitte Australian International Three Day Event in Adelaide where he will ride APH Moritz and Taurus in the CCI 4* and Virgil in the CCI2*. We wish Shane good luck on the weekend and send him and Niki our best wishes and heartfelt congratulations on their exciting news!
