Southern Cross Tauraz is the result of over 25 years of Warmblood breeding. His pedigree features some of the most influential stallions to have stood in Australia. Domherr - sire of Kibah Tic Toc, Dom Eden, Ludendorf (a super sire) Valuta (Gert Dorvig’s imported stallion) and of course Jive. On his dam side, Southern Cross Caterina was competed with success at FEI Dressage.
Southern Cross Tauraz was born on the 2/1/2010. He is just broken in and will begin his competition career in 2013.
Southern Cross Tauraz’s temperament is to die for. He is well grown and shows a big walk and a slow powerful trot. His canter is correct and balanced. For his age he is showing excellent rideability and trainability.
Southern Cross Tauraz is very closely related to Tor Van den Berge’s mare, Karingal Anastasia, who won the state Elementary and Medium National Dressage titles.
We have kept a full brother to Southern Cross Tauraz to stand at stud. This horse is known as Southern Cross Regor
