Lowest score in 2018 for Ellis Morton and DHI Sambuca

No wonder she's smiling! Ellis and DHI Sambuca at Skipton (2)

It isn’t all about elite riders when you look at statistics for the past year and, according to British Eventing and EquiRatings, the best finishing score at BE90 level last season was 16.5

This fantastic score was achieved by Ellis Morton and DHI Sambuca at Skipton (2) and of course we were on hand to film it!

Ellis and DHI Sambuca, an eight-year-old mare produced by DHI Event Horses and competed by Ellis for the past two years, had a very good season, winning not only the BE90 Regional Final at Skipton (2) but also winning the BE90 at Brand Hall and taking second place at Llanymynech. They finished their season with a move up to BE100 at Kelsall Hill where we hope to see them again in April and find out more about this talented duo

Ros Canter not only won team and individual gold at the World Equestrian Games but also produced the lowest British Eventing finishing score at Novice level on Shannondale Nadia. It was again a fantastically low score and once again at Skipton, this time at Skipton (1) in June, where Ros and Shannondale Nadia won on their dressage score of 14.0. Ros also took second place in this class riding Lordships Graffalo, finishing nearly six points behind but still on a very good score of 20.9
