Warren Lamperd - Level 4 Coach

The British Equestrian Federation (BEF) celebrated four high performing equestrian coaches on the completion of their UK Coaching Level 4 award, at Olympia, The London International Horse Show on Friday 15th December

The Level 4 qualification recognises high performing coaches working in a focussed environment and specialising at a given level of performance. Australian eventing and show jumping rider and coach Warren Lamperd was one of the four coaches, along with Corinne Bracken, Tom Graham and Julia Gourley

Warren has been based in the UK for 20 years, initially as a rider for Sir Mark Todd and now riding and coaching from his own base at White Hart Stables

Highlights of his career so far include finishing ninth at Burghley Horse Trials and attaining his Masters Degree in Coaching Science.

The two-year qualification is a bespoke programme for high performing coaches and includes a Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Practice in Sport Coaching delivered by the University of Gloucestershire, in partnership with the BEF and British Rowing.

The graduates were presented with their certificates at Olympia, the London International Horse Show by BEF Interim Chief Executive, Nicki Kavanagh. Commenting, she said; “Coaches are such an important part of our sport and I am delighted to be able to recognise and celebrate their achievements today.”
