With London 2012 looming and a deadline of 31/12/2011 for eligible ownership, the decks have been shuffled to ensure that riders have some of the best horses available to them for the big event. Here are a few that have been changing hands in recent times;

  • Latina 43 ridden by Lucinda Fredericks who finished 7th at the 8/9 year old CIC*** class at Blenheim, 16th at Boekelo at their first attempt at CCI*** and was on the EA National Futures Squad, has been sold to the Japanese eventing team
  • 10 year old showjumping mare, Ciske van Overis, originally competed by British rider Guy Williams before Edwina Tops-Alexander took over in 2010, is now with Rodrigo Pessoa
  • Stuart Tinney’s WEG 2010 mount Vettori and 3 Star horse Watermark Grayson sold to Italy
  • Heath Ryan’s 3 Star eventer Mystery Whisper sold to clients of ex-Aussie Phillip Dutton, who will ride the horse in the US eventing team trials for London
  • Shane Rose’s talented thoroughbred Il Vici who recently started his 3 Star eventing career with great success has also been sold to the US
