Back eventing again

Back at it again - Stuart and Elisabeth Brinton’s Celebration, the NCHT (Canberra) 4 Star winner

With the eventing season coming to an end in Australia, it feels like it is just the beginning!

Our first outing was a training day at Sydney International Equestrian Centre where Sydney Eventing took the plunge with a COVID safe program, which they pulled off like experts! Great work, we all totally appreciated their efforts.

We took a truck and float load for both the show jumping and cross country. Surprisingly, all our horses were not 'shell shocked' but performed and behaved really well. Maybe they did not get the memo!

The following week at Canberra was also a 'GO' so we headed there with a full truck and float. The NCHT had organised the schedule so that it took place ‘all in one day’ and we were run off our feet (plus we were not competition prepared!). The horses were fabulous, however and NCHT did a superb job.

Elisabeth Brinton's Celebration won the CCN4* on a great dressage score of 23, Leporis was fourth and Tim Game's Diabolo finished sixth with Gemma. Kerry Blair's Sir Pepper was eighth in the 3*

Leporis - 4th at NCHT (Canberra). Leporis is ridden in the Bates VICTRIX, a great fit, light weight and keeps you in balance with your horse. Celebration is also ridden in the Bates VICTRIX, no slip just grip!

This beautiful jump saddle can be custom made in your colours! The VICTRIX just puts you in balance, allowing your horse to jump with freedom and confidence.

EQUESTRIAD 17th/18th October

Two weeks after Canberra, some of our horses backed up for Equestriad at Camden.

Again we were super happy with the team with Celebration leading the dressage but had an unlucky rail (the first rail this year !!!!) to place him second in the CCI4*-S with Leporis coming third in the same class

Gemma was riding our own Daisy in the 2* for fourth place plus 'DD' (Dalenna Daydream), who was eighth in the 3* and Wasabi was second in the CCN3* (National). So a good weekend and again an event run very well under 'COVID safe' restrictions - congratulations to the Equestriad team and organizing committee.

Wasabi - 2nd at EQUESTRIAD in the National 2 Star with Gemma

Wasabi (stable name Sushi) is really maturing. She has a great future ahead and is FOR SALE to the right home. She is very special

DD (Dalenna Daydream) with Gemma at EQUESTRIAD

Due to an old, retired eventing mum who is not eventing, Gemma has taken the reins on Karen's Dalenna Daydream. It’s hard to give her up but Gemma looks so cool on her and have a brilliant future together, unless Stuart steals her!
