After the winter gap in the Australian eventing calendar we are pleased to have some great events under our belt and both events were run by a truly professional organizing committee.

We ran a small team in the CCN3* at the Sydney Spring Classic with Stuart finishing 3rd on Daisy, 5th on DD and 6th on Wasabi and Gemma taking out the blue ribbon on Tim Game’s Diabolo. Gemma also took the ride on Wanda to even up the numbers, sadly they took a fall on the flat, slipping over but no-one was hurt fortunately.

Canberra CCI followed with an even larger team of seven horses between both Stuart and Gemma in the top 3 and 4* classes - it was tight and rapid fire, but we pulled it off with some great team work on the ground.

The Saturday was cold and wet and all of our horses were touched with Spring fever! There were lots of fresh antics in the dressage but thankfully their energy levels had decreased for Sunday and they all show jumped exceptionally well with six clear rounds from the seven horses. On cross country we had seven clears with some time penalties, taking it easy as some of the team had not had a run in a month. The ground was awesome after the rain and five of our horses came in the top 10; in the CCI4*-S Elisabeth Brinton's Celebration 8th and Leporis 10th, in the CCI3*-S Daisy 2nd, Dalenna Daydream 3rd and Gemma on Wanda 9th. Diabolo and Gemma were mid-field after a leisurely run in their first 4* but clear on cross country and in the show jumping.

As many of you would know we won a yearling at The Melbourne International 3 Day Event. The concept may have been thoughtful, but the reality is that the owners of this prize would like him (Robert) to go to a home that will have the time to produce him. Unfortunately, a 2-year-old is not a good fit for us right now. We are looking at options and selling him is plan A. If you or you know anyone that may be interested, please contact us via fb or web site. Robert is delightful and very well handled. He has had a bridle on plus a roller so ready to sell smiley

A shout out to our main sponsors, COPRICE/BATES/HORSELAND and CEVA- You are so incredible to our team plus success-Thank you. Also, Proteq and Ecomist, Truck and yard essentials. Thank you.
