The French Equestrian Federation has announced its eventing long lists of horse and rider combinations selected for the 2026 World Championships in Aachen, Germany (August 13th -16th ). Each nation can enter up to five horse and rider combinations, four of which will count towards the team rankings.

The longlist is a mix of experienced riders and combinations on the rise with key members of past teams, Nicolas Touzaint, Karim Laghouag and Astier Nicolas all listed.

The younger generation is also making its mark, with Alexis Goury selected with two horses, Colorée de Poteau Z and Je’Vall plus UK-based Gaspard Maksud with Zaragoza, who recently produced a top 10 performance at Badminton CCI5*, the best French result at the event.
