Germany has named its team to defend its crown at the FEI World Championships, Aachen (August 11th to 23rd).
Following the final selection event at Avenches CCIO4*, the following rider-horse pairs have been nominated (shortlist in alphabetical order):
Malin Hansen-Hotopp with Carlitos Quidditch K (Owner: Dr. Bodil Ipsen; Breeder: Miriam Kühl)
Michael Jung with fischerChipmunk FRH (Owners: Klaus and Sabine Fischer, Joachim Jung, and the German Olympic Committee for Equestrian Sports (DOKR); Breeder: Sabine and Dr. Hilmer Meyer-Kulenkampff)
Julia Krajewski with Uelzener's Nickel (Owner: Prof. Dr. Bernd Heicke; Breeder: Hindrick Stüvel), Reserve: Tullabeg Platinum (Owner: Michael Sperl; Breeder: Nicholas Cousins)
Libussa Lübbeke with Caramia (Owners: Annelie and Dr. Martin Lübbeke; Breeder: Annelie Lübbeke)

Julia Krajewski is also nominated with Tullabeg Platinum, should her top horse Nickel unexpectedly be unavailable.
All six pairs will participate in a training camp in Bonn-Rodderberg before the World Championships.
