Eventing Spring Carnival at Thoresby Park XC Videos
After three events where young up and coming riders could score points in the Open Intermediate Under 21 classes, Anna Price leads the way in the 2025 Event Horse Owners Association (EHOA) Plum Rowland Under 21 League.
The EHOA Plum Rowland Award will be presented to the rider who gains the greatest number of points in the 12 eligible Open Intermediate U21 classes during the 2025 season. The first fixture on the 2025 calendar took place at Tweseldown (1) Horse Trials where Clementine Crosswaite Erye riding Lyjador took the top spot in the OI U21 and led the League.
Madison Tapner riding Rathlee Candy Clover won the OI U21 at the second leg at Barbury Horse Trials, earning them their first 10 points but it was Elizabeth Barrett on board Ride For Thais Chaman Dumontceau, taking second place and adding to her first round score, who moved into the League lead at that stage with 15 points.
Sarah Farnsworth started her OIU21 season with a win at the Eventing Spring Carnival at Thoresby Park, earning her first 10 points and the above cross country video by An Eventful Life, but it was Anna Price, benefitting from having contested three rounds with good results (third at Tweseldown, fifth at Barbury and third at Thoresby Park), who now leads the EHOA Plum Rowland League with 22 points, in second place is Elizabeth Barratt (15 points), Finn Healy in third (13 points) and Gemma Watts in fourth (11 points).
