Last year over 1,500 horses cantered through the arenas in Strzegom, Poland and millions of people all over the world watched hours of TV coverage.

In 2019 the eventing season in Strzegom starts in April with five big international events planned, including the FEI Nations Cup and the FEI European Championships for Ponies.

The season opens on the first weekend of April with the Strzegom Spring Open competition. Entries for this event are already open and the Strzegom Spring Open will be one of the first opportunities to qualify for the European Championships for Ponies.

The most prestigious event in Poland and one of the most important eventing shows in Europe, Strzegom Horse Trials takes place at the end of June. This year the event will have particular significance, as the Nations Cup Series will determine the team that will take part in qualification for Olympic Games in Tokyo. This event will also be one of the last opportunities to qualify for European Championships for Ponies.

August will also be packed full of sporting thrills, with the Strzegom Summer Tour at the beginning of the month and European Championships for Ponies in dressage, eventing and show jumping starting on 15th August.

The Strzegom October Festival (in the mid October) will round off the eventing season at Strzegom.

From 2019 all the categories will have one star added and consequently in April a CCI4* will take place for the first time in Poland.
