At Hopetoun International two awards were presented; in the CCI2* the winner was Borough Free Flight (above) ridden to second place by Vittoria Panizzon. Free Flight, owned by Sally Bullen and Lucy Allison, was bred by Sally and is also by Catherston Liberator. He is out of Sovereign Flight by the SHB(GB) graded Dutch Gold and is the younger half-brother to Sally’s Olympic mare Borough Pennyz.

In the CCI1* the award went to Susie Wilson’s nine-year-old Knight’s Escapade ridden by Ginny Howe to fourth place. Knight’s Escapade, who was bred by his owner, is by the former advanced SHB(GB) graded event stallion McGuigan.

All owners of the award winners will receive a special plaque sponsored by Preci-Spark and BEDE Events.
