Bubby on the Young Rider podium at FEI European Championships 2019
21-year-old Bubby Upton has received the John Burder Trophy as the leading British young rider at the 2019 Young Rider European Championships
Michael Bacon from Saracen Horse Feeds, sponsor of the British Eventing Young Rider Programme, presented the John Burder trophy to Bubby at the British Eventing Awards lunch on February 14th 2020
Bubby won an individual silver medal and team gold at the 2019 European Championships in the Netherlands, following up her individual gold medal in 2017. It was Bubby’s fifth European Championship since 2014 when she competed at the Pony European Championships in Millstreet on both her ponies, Alfie XI and Howen Loganberry when she was 15, winning Team and Individual silver on Alfie XI
