Derek di Grazia and his team have done a great job of preparing the ground for cross country at this year’s Defender Burghley Horse Trials, says Event Director Martyn Johnson, who is looking forward to some ‘great sport’ this weekend.

Burghley bid as the venue for the 2026 FEI World Championships which will now be held at Aachen (GER) from 11th -23rd August 2026, but ‘never say never’ says Martyn.
