What a year it was for Sarah Bullimore and her nine-year-old homebred horse Corimiro in 2025.
The season started well and finished even better, with third place in the 8/9 Year Old class at Blenheim Palace International and a stunning CCI5* debut at Les Etoiles de Pau where the pair led after cross country and finished fifth overall. Not surprisingly, Corimiro also topped the British Eventing/The Howden Way Power Average League for 8/9 Year Old horses in some very classy company.
The average of a horse’s three best finishing scores, the Power Average highlights the ability to repeatedly finish on a low score.
Equiratings calculates the Power Average using the three best finishing scores from all 2025 British Eventing competitions at the Advanced, CCI4*-S and CCI4*-L levels. Only 8 or 9 year-old horses with three or more 2025 BE completions at those levels are eligible to win.
We’ve more to come very soon from Sarah on her starry young horse but, in the meantime, just sit back and enjoy watching their cross country run at the Agria Blenheim Palace International!
