Australia’s Bill Levett has started the season well in the warm-up classes at Montelibretti, Italy. Bill had three in the top six of the CCI3*-S with Huberthus AC taking second place behind Switzerland’s Melody Johner riding Gratte Cielle Peccau.

Bill and Melody took the lion’s share of top placings with Bill also in third on board RNH Tom Tom R and sixth on Sligo Candy Cane while Melody also took fourth on Toubleu De Rueire.

The Levett Eventing team, including son Josh who is also competing, stay in Italy for the second week at Montelibretti with Huberthus AC and Sligo Candy Cane in the CCI4*-L and RNH Tom Tom R will contest the first FEI Eventing Nations Cup CCIO4*-S of the year from 15th – 17th March.

Australia's Chris Burton, making a return to eventing at Montelibretti, showjumped clear after second place in the dressage and took a steady run around cross country to be out of the placings but no doubt now more familiar with his new horse.
