    A new International Eventing Competition at Le Mans 2022

 

The Pôle Européen du Cheval at Le Mans, France may be better known as a venue for dressage and jumping competitions but this year is organising its first international eventing competition, to take place from 17th – 20th March 2022

The team is already hard at work building new obstacles, renovating the main track and improving the cross-country tracks with sand for the competition that will see four classes - CCI3*S, CCI2*L, CCI2*S and CCI1* - with a total prize fund of more than €17,000 and numerous prizes.

The Amateur Team Challenge will also provide additional incentives and prizes for amateur riders who have not competed at 3* level or higher for at least five years. These riders entered in the CCI1* or 2*S will be able to form teams of two or three to compete in the Amateur Team Challenge

As confirmed at the 2021 FEI General Assembly, the FEI European Championship for Ponies - Jumping, Dressage and Eventing – will take place at Le Mans (FRA), 27-30 July 2023
