It’s December and that can mean only one thing – The London International Horse Show!

This year's London International Horse Show will take place from 15-19 December 2022 at ExCeL London and, as always, the Show will play host to a packed timetable of all things equestrian

Welcoming over 90,000 visitors, the Show mixes top class equestrian action, including FEI World Cup™ Jumping, Dressage and Driving with family entertainment, such as The Shetland Pony Grand National and The Kennel Club Dog Agility. But eventing fans have plenty to keep them interested too.

The Dressage Unwrapped Masterclass on Thursday 15th not only features Great Britain’s most celebrated Dressage riders, such as Richard Davison, Carl Hester MBE and double world champion Lottie Fry (a treat in itself) but Laura Collett and Dickie Waygood will also take to the stage

British Performance Director, Dickie Waygood, will partner with Olympic Eventing team gold medallist and reigning Badminton champion Laura Collett, to demonstrate how to keep eventing horses interested and motivated through fun training methods - providing tips for how to get the most out of a horse by keeping them happy

On Friday, Eventing World Champion Yasmin Ingham will be appearing in the Live Zone in the Shopping Village, speaking about her career and amazing experience of competing at the very top of her discipline.

Popular eventing influencer Megan Elphick will be another to take to the Live Zone stage following her appearance in Pippa Funnell’s ‘Winter Survival Guide’ Masterclass on Sunday morning.

Pippa’s Masterclass is one you won’t want to miss as she shares her secrets in this two-part Masterclass – aimed at keeping your eventing eye in the game through those long winter months.

Pippa will present jumping exercises, tips and tricks for the audience to take home and put into practice – all arena-based, and easy to take home and try – with Megan demonstrating exercises to improve that all-important cross-country phase under Pippa’s eagle eye.

To complete the session, Pippa will focus on the next steps to take for those looking to move up the grades in the coming season and provide an insight into the best use of winter training time – including how best to manage young horses and veterans conditioning over the winter.

Can’t be there in person? Don’t worry, we’ll be bringing you our take on the highlights from London International Horse Show with tips from the best in the eventing world
