Milo Kennedy riding Gooduck Jonathan, Poppy Wilkinson riding Amazing Mika, Kate Prendergast riding Kilpatrick Cassius and Tom Griffiths riding Pentwyn JR, collectively known as the Wylye Valley Willberries, were the victors in the 90cm Pony Club Team Eventing Challenge at Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials on Friday

It was a special win for the club which was Hannah Francis’ home Pony Club, hence their team name in memory of Hannah who was a friend to them all. Tom Griffiths’ pony Pentwyn JR gamely carried their mascot Willberry between his ears at the presentation without batting an eyelid and after the presentation the riders headed down to the stables to be congratulated by Ben Hobday, the patron of their team

The Wylye Valley Willberries won on a team score of 0 jumping penalties and 336.66 time penalties ahead of Bicester and Warden Hill in second place and Golden Valley Hunt in third
