Following the announcement of the British squad for the 2023 FEI European Eventing Championships at Haras Du Pin from 9th – 13th August, Germany and Switzerland have now also announced squads.

German squad for 2023 FEI European Eventing Championships

The German long list consists of three blocks with a final decision to be made after the Nations Cup at Jardy (14th – 16th July)

Swiss squad for 2023 FEI European Eventing Championships

The selection committee of the Swiss Equestrian Federation SVPS has announced the following team for Haras Le Pin

Robin Godel with Grandeur de Lully CH (Owner: Jean-Jacques Fünfschilling)

Mélody Johner with Toubleu de Rueire (Owner: Peter Thürler, Heinz-Günter Wickenhäuser) or GB Keep Cool du Perchet CH (Owner: Christina Maier)

Nadja Minder with Toblerone CH (owner: Nicole Basieux) or Victoryhope Treille(owner: Peter Attinger) or Top Job's Jalisco (owner: Peter Attinger, Martin Zak)

Felix Vogg with Cartania II (Owner: Felix Vogg, Phoenix Eventing S.a.r.l). or Colero (Owner: Jürgen Vogg)

Team manager Dominik Burger will be joined by his support staff, Antonia Müller as the team veterinarian, Gilles Ngovan as the dressage coach, Andrew Nicholson as the cross-country coach and Lesley McNaught as the show-jumping coach.

“At the European Championships in Le Pin we can expect an interesting and difficult cross as well as strong competition. We have been able to prepare well in the last few months and at the CHIO Aachen and, after the good results at the championships in recent years, we are highly motivated to get a taste of a team medal” says Dominik.
