Ben and Lady Solaire
Ben Leathers flies the Australian flag on his lorry which alerted our attention to the fact that an Aussie we hadn’t spoken to before was competing at Chilham Park.
It was lovely to catch up with Ben and find out more about the mare Lady Solaire he was riding that day, finishing third in the BE90 Section D, plus how he came to be an Australian eventing rider in the UK
Ben is also the only Australian rider in next week’s Mitsubishi Motors Cup so of course we will catch up with him again there, where he hopes to ‘have fun!’
