Australian eventing rider Ben Leathers ventured north from his agistment and training property at Homelands Equestrian in West Sussex to tackle his first ever long format eventing competition at Houghton International
Ben ‘had to find a jacket and tie that wasn’t riding related’ for his first ever trot up, his horse Kauto Cyreo was somewhat bemused by the many warm up arenas for dressage, they experienced first-hand the new flag rule on cross country but overall Ben loved the experience
