After two days of dressage at the LOTTO Strzegom Horse Trials in Poland, Germany leads the FEI Nations Cup CCIO4*-S

The German team of Johanna Marloh riding Crazy Carlotta, (second individually on 29,.3), Sophie Leube riding Sweetwaters Ziethen TSF (fourth, 29.9) and Vanessa Bölting riding Ready To Go W (seventh, 30.1) lead on a combined score of 89.3.

With a record nine teams in the hunt, it is a strong battle at the top this year with Team USA, on their first visit to Strzegom, holding second place (92.9). US team rider Caroline Pamukcu (nee Martin), who we spoke to earlier this year, riding HSH Blake is also on top individually with a score of 28.1.

“He’s such a special horse. He’s only eight years old, so I’m really proud of him. At that age they’re still lacking so much strength, so for him to go in and be able to hold a consistent test - I think it’s just phenomenal. We have high hopes for him for the future” she said
