It may be a bit tricky for British riders to get to Europe at the moment but France and Italy flew the flag at Little Downham (1) on Saturday
France’s Gaspar Maksud and Italy’s Giovanni Ugolotti, both riders who now reside in England, each won a Novice section on their dressage scores in ‘luxurious’ style on Saturday with Gaspard winning the Section H on Coirban Sarco Delux and Giovanni taking the Section J on Headley Deluxe
Australia’s Isabel English was also in the money in the Section H, taking fourth place on board Shanbeg To Differ.
Sarah Bullimore took second place in the Novice Section J riding Chelveston Lass but her ribbons didn’t end there as she also won the Five-Year-Old class on another of her up and coming stars, Corimiro and the BE100 Section N on Qiwi Sprite, with a very impressive score of 18.8.
