Seigneur Medicott starts well for India

Bettina Hoy recently advised that she had sold her lovely 11 year old Seigneur Medicott

“It is with a very heavy heart that I have to announce the sale of Seigneur Medicott. The fact that he will be ridden by my Indian student Fouaad Mirza does on the other hand put a smile on my face. So Micky will stay under my care and supervision to hopefully win his new rider a medal at the Asian Games next year. I wish both of them the best luck in the world!!!” said Bettina on her Facebook page

As well as riding competitively, Bettina coaches both the Indian and Dutch teams and it seems that Seigneur Medicott and Fouaad Mirza have really hit it off. They have started with a bang at Montelibretti this week, leading the CCI1* on a score of 32 and 11 penalties ahead of second placed Joelle Bruni from Switzerland. Fouaad is also in fourth place currently on Cocky Locky

Seigneur Medicott and Bettina had great success in 2016/2017 with four big 3* wins in a row at Blenheim, Chatsworth, Houghton Hall and Luhmuhlen and also won at their last start together at Langenhagen in the 2*.

Lucky Fouaad!
