Germany names eventing team for Tokyo 2020

The German Olympic Committee for Equestrian (DOKR) have announced the three riders nominated for the German eventing team at Tokyo 2020

The three selected riders with their horses and reserves are;

  • Sandra Auffarth (Ganderkesee) with Viamant du Matz and Let's Dance (Reserve)
  • Michael Jung (Horb) with fischerChipmunk FRH and fischer WildWave (Rerserve)
  • Julia Krajewski (Warendorf) with Amande de B’Neville

A reserve pair will also travel to Tokyo, which, according to the new Olympic regulations, can be substituted in for the next phase with additional penalty points.

Andreas Dibowski (Döhle) was nominated as a reserve with FRH Corrida and was additionally nominated for the European Championships in September if they are not required in Tokyo

The AG Spitzensport also nominated Christoph Wahler (Bad Bevensen) with Carjatan S as the second reserve, and Anna Siemer (Salzhausen) with FRH Butt’s Avondale as the third reserve.

The horses Jadore Moi and Casino from Sophie Leube (Hamm) and Dirk Schrade (Heidmühle) are also to move into the quarantine in Warendorf (from July 10th).
