29-year-old Tom Jackson finished 10th on the British Eventing Top Rider League 2022 after a strong year across the levels on multiple horses

But his stand-out performance came at the Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials in September 2022 where he finished in second place

Riding Capels Hollow Drift, Tom moved up from 13th after the dressage and moved up to fourth place on cross country day, adding just 3.6 time penalties for the third fastest time of the day at their Burghley debut.

On the final day they jumped a clear round, moving them up to second place for their first CCI5* podium

Tom has represented Britain on both Junior and Young Rider European teams, being a part of the Gold Medal winning Junior team in 2011, and Silver and Bronze medal winning teams in 2013 and 2014 at the Young Rider European Championships.

The 12-year-old grey gelding Capels Hollow Drift showed his potential as a young horse, taking the runner-up spot in the Six-Year-Old FEI World Young Horse Championships at Le Lion d’Angers. In 2022 had his first 5* start with a completion at Badminton followed by the impressive result at Burghley later in the year

We’re looking forward to seeing what this pair will do in 2023 ………
