Eliza Stoddart has made it back-to-back wins in the British Eventing 5-Year-Old Championship held this year at Oasby (2) on Sunday

Eliza has followed up her win of the 2019 Championship at Osberton on Codebreaker with a win on board the German bred De Pleasure, owned by Sue Brankin Frisby, Heather Sandell, Georgina Stoddart and Eliza. It was a tight fought Championship with De Pleasure finishing on his dressage score of 28 and the second and third placed horses, Woodlands Be Individual ridden by Caroline Harris and Quality Time, ridden by JP Sheffield both finishing on 28.5.

Five other sections of BE100 competition took place at Oasby (2) on Sunday with Angus Smales backing up his Saturday win in the Intermediate with a win in the BE100 Section L on Galteemoor Samuel.

Section K was won by Ella Dalton riding Stambrook Mastercard and Millie Bowes-Hall took the Section J on board Emmas Choice

New Zealand’s Bruce Haskell took home the honours in the Section I on Shannondale Zelda at just their third start and the BE100 Open was won by Ellie Martindale riding the lovely pony and 2018 European Championship winner with Saffie Osborne, Little Indian Feather

It was another well-known international rider that took the Novice Section N with Brazil’s Carlos Parro winning on board Watusi ahead of Sam Ecroyd riding Harthill Bahri but Sam took the top spot in the Novice Section O on Chapel Hill
