Entries are open for Allerton Park Horse Trials, 19th & 20th September 2026, with the annual event in picturesque North Yorkshire hosting national classes from BE100 to Open Intermediate, including Under 18 sections for the Novice and BE100. The Intermediate sections run on Saturday alongside the Novice and Novice Masters classes while Sunday sees a focus on BE100 and more Novice sections.
Allerton Park is a beautiful venue, and this is one of the few opportunities to not only ride there but also visit the 250-acre historic park with its lakes and scenic views, normally closed to the public.
“The dressage arenas are on well-drained flat pasture in North Park” say the organisers “The show jumping arena is flat and generous in size with a good-sized warm up area, and makes an atmospheric central hub to this vibrant, friendly event.
The cross country tracks are bold, educational, designed to encourage forward riding and are ideal for those preparing to step up a level as the track encompasses undulating terrain and makes use of natural features, including the Dew Pond complex”
