Suddenly we’re getting towards the pointy end of the British Eventing season and that means that it’s time to get your entries in for the Aspen Cooling Osberton International (1st – 4th October 2026). The end of season party held on the Osberton Estate in Nottinghamshire always offers a bumper line up, both in terms of classes on offer and evening entertainment, and this year is no exception.

The Arena Saddles CCI2*-L and Rathbones CCI3*-L take centre stage, alongside the Animalintex CCI1* -Intro and Project Pony CCIP2*-L.

Last year Australia and New Zealand cleaned up with New Zealand’s Ginny Thomasen riding Katchafire taking the 3*-L and Sammi Birch winning the CCI2*-L – who will be the big winners with up and coming equine stars this year?

But it isn’t all about the professional riders - the Agria Amateur BE105 is a class designed to give amateurs the experience of an international event across three days of competition without the additional requirements of the FEI CCI1* class. This class also plays host to the grand finale of this year’s Agria 100 League and there are Pony Club Nations Cup classes at BE105 and CCI2* levels.

As always there will be plenty to do by day and night, with evening entertainment this year including Disco Bingo on Thursday, the BEST Quiz on Friday in aid of the British Eventing Support Trust and the Saturday night Disco to keep you bopping all weekend.

Entries are now open, with ballot date of 8th September. Get your entries in and we’ll see you there!
