For all the latest stories, insights and plenty of Belsay banter, make sure you visit The Belsay Briefing, sponsored by RBC Brewin Dolphin, at Belsay Horse Trials (15-17 May) in Northumberland.
The Belsay Briefing chat stage will host interviews and discussions with top riders, class winners and key figures from the equestrian community, bringing the eventing world to life and giving visitors the chance to find out what’s going on behind the scenes.
Already signed up are former European Champion Nicola Wilson, 14-times CCI5* winner William Fox-Pitt and Jane Holderness-Roddam, who won Olympic team gold for Britain aged just 20.
The Belsay Briefing will be located next to the hospitality area, adjacent to Belsay’s main arena, and sessions will take place mid-morning, mid-afternoon and at the end of competition each day.
Belsay’s organiser Laura de Wesselow said: “We are so delighted to be working with long-time sponsor RBC Brewin Dolphin on this exciting new offering at Belsay. Now that we’re a CCI4* event, we’ve got so much to share with people and can’t wait to give our spectators insight into Belsay and the wider eventing community.”
Anna Matthews from RBC Brewin Dolphin said: “RBC Brewin Dolphin has supported Belsay since the very early days of the horse trials, and we have watched it grow into northern England’s most popular equestrian event. The Belsay Briefing will add another entertaining, informative layer to what is already a superb weekend."
Alongside international classes at CCI4*-S, CCI3*-S, CCI2*-S and CCI1* level, Belsay is running British Eventing national classes from Advanced to BE105.
