Belsay International not only features the CCI2*-P British Pony Championship supported by Project Pony, the CCI2*-L for Juniors and CCI2*-S classes but also national classes from BE90 to Intermediate, including the second leg of the Intermediate Masters Series

The 2* competitors also have an extra incentive on offer with Belsay International being the first leg of the Northumberland CCI2* Challenge, running at Belsay, Alnwick Ford and Burgham and offering a cash bonus of up to £22,000

It all kicks off on Wednesday for the British Pony Championships and the CCI2*-L for Juniors with dressage on Wednesday and Thursday, cross country on Friday and show jumping on Saturday. The CCI2*-S competitors complete with both cross country and show jumping on Friday and the Intermediate Masters takes also takes place on Friday

The results of the British Pony Championships and the CCI2*-L for Juniors will be influential as these young riders vie for a place on the British teams at the FEI European Championships for Ponies in Strzegom, Poland in August and the FEI European Young Rider and Junior Championships at Hartpury from July 25th – 31st
