Entries are open for Belsay International (15th – 17th May), which will host a CCI4*-S, CCI3*-S, CCI2*-S and CCI1*-S at international level plus national level classes at Advanced, Open Intermediate, Intermediate, Novice and BE105, including a Pony Trial Novice, Open Novice U18 and Novice Masters section.
Not only does Belsay International offer a whole host of national and international eventing classes, it will also host the first leg in the very exciting Northumberland Challenge competition.
Uniting the county’s three international eventing fixtures at Belsay, Burgham International Horse Trials and Alnwick Ford Equestrian International, the Northumberland Challenge offers riders at 4*, 3* and 2* the chance to win a huge cash bonus, should they take the top spot at all three competitions.
Open to horses and riders from any region, there is a slight twist to this year’s challenge, in that the winning rider does not necessarily have to be riding the same horse at each event. As long as they take top honours at each event, the cash pot is theirs to keep in the Matfen Hall 4* Northumberland Challenge, An Eventful Life 3* Challenge and NIS Limited 2* Challenge.
