Bishop Burton College celebrates its 70th Anniversary in 2025 and its first eventing competition of the year, Bishop Burton (1) Horse Trials, taking place on 24th and 25th May, will be part of the celebrations.
Entries are now open for the East Yorkshire competition that hosts national level British Eventing affiliated classes from BE90 to Open Intermediate, plus GO BE 90 & 100 and classes for Six- and Seven-Year-Old horses at Novice and Intermediate levels. The event will also offer a range of additional attractions for visitors during the Horse Trials as part of its anniversary celebrations.
The BE90, 100 and GO BE classes will take place on Saturday with one more BE100 section on Sunday, running alongside the Novice and Intermediate sections, including the Open Intermediate.
As always, the cross country courses at Bishop Burton Horse Trials are designed and built by British Eventing Platinum builder and B List Professional Designer Joe Weller, offering inviting courses designed to give confidence at all levels as well as asking the right questions at the higher levels using the best of the College's undulating parkland.
Dressage takes place on flat, grassed arenas while the showjumping is held on the large outdoor surfaced arena with adjoining warm-up area.
An Eventful Life is filming all competitors on cross country so keep an eye on our socials for snippets during the event and our full wrap up with rider comments on the website the following week.
