Defender Bramham Horse Trials Cross Country Videos
Defender Bramham Horse Trials has a long and prestigious history in British eventing, with the competition first running in 1974, and this year it sees another page in its history book, with cross country course designer Andrew Heffernan taking over the reins from Ian Stark, who was the course designer here from 2015 – 2024.
Another exciting change this year will be that the Under 25 British Championship will be run as part of the CCI4*-S class, which runs dressage on Thursday and Friday with showjumping and cross country on Sunday, rather than the CCI4*-L.
The CCI4*-L starts with the first horse inspection in front of the House on Wednesday followed by dressage on Thursday and Friday, cross country on Saturday and showjumping on Sunday. Last year Harry Meade finally topped the CI4*-L podium, after trying for many years, and in so doing emulated his father Richard Meade who won the title in 1975.
Entries are now open, tickets are on sale for the event through the Bramham Box Office and we are filming all competitors on cross country so we’ll see you there!
