It’s been a very busy couple of months for eventing in Northumberland with double the fun at Belsay Castle with Belsay (1) International and Belsay (2) International in May, Alnwick Ford International Horse Trials having just completed last weekend and now entries are open for the next big one at Burgham International Horse Trials, taking place from 24th – 27th July.
The easily accessible event, just off the A1 between Morpeth and Alnwick, will host international classes from CCI4*-S to CCI2*-S, national British Eventing classes from BE90 to Open Intermediate, Dubarry Burghley Young Event Horse qualifiers, and a Thoroughbred and Ex-Racehorses Show. Plus, new for 2025, there will be unaffiliated showjumping, with classes from 80cm to 1.20m, on Saturday, 26 July.
