Epworth (3) Horse Trials 2025 Cross Country Videos
Eventing really is an amazing sport. You’re not likely to get up close and personal with Wimbledon winners or football heroes at local events but the stars of our sport can be seen pretty much every weekend, training their young horses to be future superstars.
And that’s what we’ll see at Epworth (3) Horse Trials this weekend. It will be our first visit to the event near Doncaster that has very big names in the sport mixed in alongside those having fun at lower levels and Go BE competition.
World Champion Yasmin Ingham will be competing, as is Badminton winner Caroline Powell, the newly crowned British Open Champion Katie Magee and young Finn Healy, just returned from the FEI European Eventing Championships for Young Riders and Juniors in Strzegom.
Many of them will be competing across the classes, including the new Novice sections that were just introduced at Epworth (2) in June. Word seems to have got around that they are very good courses and this week’s Epworth has not only an Open Novice and two Novice sections on Saturday but also a Novice and Open Novice U18 on Sunday alongside BE80, BE90 and BE100 sections across the two days.
