Following the cancellation of Oasby (1) due to snow and the first CCI4* of the British Eventing season looming at Thoresby International at the end of this month, competitors are keen to get a good run in and the list of entries at Lincolnshire reflects that
Three days of competition from Thursday 17th – Sunday 19th March at Lincolnshire Showgrounds will see classes from BE100 to Advanced Intermediate take place.
The top names will be out in force on Sunday for the Advanced Intermediate, which sees Ros Canter’s Lordships Graffalo, Kitty King’s Vendredi Biats, Mollie Summerland on Charly Van Ter Heiden and Bubby Upton on Cannavaro among the entries
Three sections of Open Intermediate have Tom McEwen, Piggy March, Oliver Townend, William Fox-Pitt, Izzy Taylor and Laura Collett, among a host of others, with some of their top horses and all classes are completely full.
The great news is that the ground on the Joe Weller designed cross country has held up well with organisers saying that “We’ve had some rain but, with such well-draining land and a good wind, running is reported as good for the time of year.”
