Lincolnshire Horse Trials 2026 preview

An Eventful Life is filming all competitors on cross country at Lincolnshire Horse Trials – order or view videos here

With full entries and an entry list that reads like a ‘Who’s Who’ of British Eventing, Lincolnshire Horse Trials is set to be a whopper this week. The event is being run by new organisers this year but that certainly hasn’t hurt their entry list with the classes full across all three days from 20th – 22nd March.

If you can’t get to Badminton this year, then just pop along to the Lincoln Showgrounds and watch Ros Canter, Laura Collett and Oliver Townend in action. All three are competing in the Open Intermediate on Sunday with European Champion Laura riding London 52 and Bling, Oliver riding Cooley Rosalent and Ros Canter, at her first competition back since having her second baby, riding Lordships Graffalo.

Ros and Lordships Graffalo are attracting a lot of attention this year as the combination who could win an unprecedented third Badminton 5*. Lincolnshire will be their first run back and we’re not expecting a win from them here, but it will be very interesting to see the scores that all three top riders, who are all likely to be heading to Badminton, pull off in the dressage.

The Advanced Intermediate runs on Friday alongside two Open Intermediate sections and one Intermediate and all three days are packed with top riders and horses plus the weather is looking good!

We’ll be filming all competitors on cross country plus check back daily for quick updates during the event!
