New Eventing 'Frequent Flyer' system

Finn Healy and Teamble 'flying' around Thoresby 2023 to win the CCI3*-S.

“We all love getting something for free” says Stuart Buntine of BEDE Events, who are bringing in a new Loyalty Card system to reward frequent attendees to its British Eventing fixtures.

The Loyalty Card, that could give new meaning to “Frequent Flyer’, will run across BEDE Events competitions in 2024 and will provide a free start for competitors on their sixth appearance.

Cards will be allocated to the horse, with stamps able to be claimed at each event the horse competes. Competitors will be able to get their horse’s card stamped at the Event Office onsite.  Once five stamps have been collected, on the sixth event the competitor will be eligible to receive a refund of their start fee.

Competitors with multiple horses may hold multiple Loyalty Cards.

The participating BEDE events include:

           Oasby 1

           Thoresby

           Solihull 1

           Osberton 1

           Shelford 1

           BCA

           Catton Park

           Brightling Park

           Solihull 2

           Shelford 2

           Osberton 2 (short format only)

           Oasby 2

“We’re always looking at new and innovative ways to encourage more people to British Eventing fixtures. We appreciate the costs of competing have been on the rise and this is our way of giving something back to those who support our events on a regular basis” says Stuart.
