Oasby (2) Horse Trials 2025 Cross Country Videos
The new version of Agria Oasby (2) Horse Trials may be designed for grassroots riders but it seems that the top riders can’t stay away from the very popular venue!
With Oasby (1) Horse Trials in March running only two days, this year’s Oasby (2) has just lower level classes over the two days on 18th and 19th April – the Friday and Saturday of the Easter weekend – with classes from BE80 to BE100 plus a Pony Trial. The event is also running GO BE classes at 80 and 90 levels and the new BE experiment in ‘two-phase’ eventing, XC+, where competitors choose one other phase (dressage or showjumping) to go with cross country.
Oliver Townend, Piggy March, Lizzie Baugh and Jeanette Brakewell are some of the well-known names joining the many to enjoy a run across Stuart Buntine’s cross country courses, which will use a part of the land not usually used for lower level classes. The spate of good weather is set to continue in this part of the world with relatively sunny conditions, if a bit cool, on Friday and Saturday, making for a pleasant couple of days for all Easter bunnies.
