Kingston Maurward College Horse Trials cross country videos
Conditions were perfect for eventing at Kingston Maurward College Horse Trials in Devon on Saturday with the first six classes being decided at BE90 and BE80 levels.
The big win of the day came from Valerie Pool and the eight-year-old mare Flashbrook Quintessential, owned by Sarah and Rachel Gough, who won the BE90 Open Section C1 on their very impressive dressage score of 21.0 – well done!
The mare was originally produced by Irish Olympian Padraig McCarthy, with Valerie, who rides for the Netherlands, taking over the reins only recently. This was just their second British Eventing run together but the pair are obviously forging their partnership very quickly!
The five other winners on Saturday were;
BE90 Section A: Belinda Payne riding Penolva High Hopes
BE90 Section B: Dan Andrews riding Gallopin B
GO90 Section C: Kate Darby riding Clorogue Flight
BE80 Section D: Kathy Emery riding Lynnes Legacy
GO80 Section E: Emilia Wills riding Whitecliffe Wesley
