Entries are now open for Swalcliffe Park (1) Horse Trials 2026 in Oxfordshire (18th & 19th July 2026) and they welcome back Aspen Cooling Ltd as title sponsors. That could bring some very welcome ‘cooling relief’ for the ground if required as the event says that “as a result of this we will be either offering increased prize money in some classes or, if necessary, use the generous sponsorship towards watering the course to ensure perfect going whatever the weather”.
The Event Horse Owners Association (EHOA) Owner/Rider prize is also up for grabs, this time for a BE90 section with an additional £400 prize money and new for this year, they are also hosting HorseQuest Novice Masters Qualifier, also with an additional £600 prize pot and prizes for the top three (plus, somewhat strangely, free socks for every Novice Master competitor!)
A completely new track was unveiled last year, with courses at BE90, BE90Open, BE100, BE100Open, Novice, Open Novice and Intermediate Novice levels designed and built by Richard Taylor.
The BE90 (plus GO BE90), BE90 Open, BE100 and BE100 Open will run on Saturday at Swalcliffe Park (1) while Sunday hosts the Novice classes (Novice Masters, Novice, Open Novice and Intermediate Novice) plus more BE100 and BE100 Open.
Ballot date is 30th June so get those entries in and we’ll see you there!
